Horshoe pits - try your hand at this western game that is fun for all abilities.
Golf Green - not really a "green" but the 1000 sq. ft. clay putting surface is our high mountain version of golf.

Hiking and walking trails - if you are up for an after dinner stroll there are several to choose from with wildflower displays and often wildlife viewing.

Porches - Both North and South facing porches offer beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere for reading, bird-watching and wildlife viewing.
Feel like a soothing soak? Visit the Slate Creek natural hot springs located just 2.5 miles up the canyon.
For the more adventureous, all you need to do is ready your backpack and take off from the Inn to one of 3 mountain lakes. Crater, O'Caulkins, and Hoo-Doo lakes are just 3 - 6 miles away.
If weather isn't permitting or you just want to experience some quiet time at the Inn we also have available some games & toys you probably haven't seen since childhood. Have you ever played pick-up sticks, lincoln logs, or checkers? Too quiet? Challenge someone to a game of darts or pool. Experience life without T.V.
