Latitude, Longitude and UTM values are based on the North American Datum of 1927 (NAD 27) which is used on USGS & USFS 1:24,000 Topo Maps. Most
GPS Units are set by default to the newer World Geodetic System 1984 (WGS84)
or the synonymous North American Datum of 1983 (NAD83). Most GPS units can
easily be temporarily changed over. However NAD83 is only about 13 meters
north and 71 meters east of the NAD 27 values (on the Lake Mtn. Quad.). |

Note that
Latitude is NORTH and Longitude is WEST. Some programs require west values to
be entered as -114 rather than 114. |

All UTM values are UTM Zone 11. |
