I was born in Auburn, Maine and got a degree in Forestry at the University of Maine. I first worked on the Boise and the Payette National Forests in Idaho where I met my wife. I recently retired from the Salmon-Challis National Forest.

I
find it handy to create a list of links to some of my favorite subjects. My
first was a list of links useful for those interested in bird-watching and
nature. Next was a list of links to the March 2000 Iditarod Sled Dog Race.
Then, links to information about the year 2000 forest fires. I've coordinated
cross country ski trips and since the 2002-2003 season have maintained several
Cross Country Ski Web pages (See 4 - 6).
Future lists may include camping, fly-fishing and maps/GPS.
